Our Story
Endolens Co., Ltd. is a specialist service provider in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of rigid endoscopes, supporting public and private hospitals across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Established in 2010, Endolens was the first dedicated service provider in Thailand to introduce a structured and standardised approach to rigid endoscope repair. Since then, the company has supported the development of professional repair practices and helped healthcare institutions build confidence in the safe and effective use of third-party repair services.
Endolens was founded by Mr David John Hope, a precision optical engineering specialist with over 25 years of professional experience in endoscopic systems. As Founder and Head Engineer, Mr Hope has defined the company’s technical philosophy, repair methodologies, and quality control framework, which underpin all operational activities.
Under his leadership, Endolens has built a dedicated engineering team trained to operate in accordance with controlled procedures, documented workflows, and defined technical standards specific to Endolens. All inspection, repair, and maintenance activities are carried out under systematic technical supervision to ensure consistency, traceability, and reliable performance outcomes.
Quality assurance, risk management, and equipment lifecycle responsibility are central to Endolens’ approach. Services are delivered using documented processes designed to support functional integrity, clinical performance, and patient safety, with service records maintained to support traceability and institutional governance requirements.
In addition to repair and maintenance services, Endolens works closely with healthcare providers by offering technical guidance and knowledge support related to appropriate repair standards, equipment risk management, and lifecycle optimisation. This enables hospitals to confidently outsource rigid endoscope services while maintaining high standards of clinical reliability, operational control, and patient safety.
